Lesson 1: Introduction to financial markets
In this lesson, you will learn the basics of investing and the stock market. This includes the functions of markets and how they operate. There are also some simple 'must know' terms and definitions which will be needed for the rest of the course.
Lesson 2: Introduction to Stocks
In this lesson, you will learn the fundamentals to understanding what stocks are. We discuss factors that move stock prices, and the different types of stocks and shares. Terms from this need to be understood to proceed into complexities.
Lesson 3: Technical Analysis
In this lesson, you will be able to understand stock charts and metrics. Key terms to understand a stock are discussed, along side technical analysis so you can learn how to trade stocks. This is still at a basic level for technical analysis.
Lesson 4: Economic Systems
In this lesson, you will learn the basics of economic systems: what they are, and what they do. Learning more about the types of economics: Free Market, Mixed, and Planned, along with other additional economic systems.
Lesson 5: Fundamental Analysis
In this lesson, you will learn the fundamentals of fundamental analysis. Looking more into financial statements, and how to analyze those of public companies. A good intro into the ratios used to value companies and where to find them
Lesson 6: Intro to Economic Indicators
In this lesson you will learn about the fundamentals of economic indicators and how you can use them when making decisions in the stock market. This will teach you all about the correlations between the economy and the market.
Lesson 7: Economic Policies
In this lesson, you will learn the basics of economic policies and how they affect the stock market, such as: monetary and fiscal policy. You will also look more into exchange rates and how they affect the stock market.
Lesson 8: Accounting Basics
In this lesson, you will learn the basics of accounting as a good introduction. You will learn how to analyze and look at and read financial statements that are put out by public companies when they report earnings.
